About Shadelyt

We help companies say yes to AI, without giving away their data.

AI tools made everyone faster. They also became the easiest way for company data to walk out of the door: a customer list pasted in to be cleaned up, a contract to be summarised, source code to be fixed. Usually by someone just trying to do their job well. Blocking the tools doesn't work either: people move to their phones and personal accounts, and the leak carries on where nobody can see it.

So we built Roger Shadelyt. It checks what your people send to AI tools, on their own PC, in about twelve milliseconds. When something sensitive is in it, such as a card number, a password, an Aadhaar or PAN number, or your clients' details, it stops it, warns about it or takes it out, and lets the rest through. People keep the help; the data stays home.

What we believe

  • Your data stays yours. A data-protection tool shouldn't become your biggest data store. The text people write is never stored, and what Roger Shadelyt records stays in your own console and database. We see licence information only.
  • Protect, don't prohibit. The safest AI policy is one people can follow. Roger Shadelyt makes the tools you allow safe to use, instead of pushing people around them.
  • Respect the person at the keyboard. Clear messages in their own language, a redacted version they can still send, and a visible icon on every PC, so nobody is watched in secret.
  • Proof, not promises. Every finding is recorded with the kind of data, the AI tool and a masked value, so you can show your auditors and your clients what was protected.

Who we work with

IT and security teams at organisations that handle data they must not lose: chartered accountancy and law firms, healthcare providers, banks and financial services, BPOs and KPOs, and software companies working with their clients' code and records. Most have between 50 and 500 people: big enough to have the problem, too small to build the answer themselves.
